Christmas / wintery makeup
SInce the christmas season is here and winter is here... I decide to do a makeup look for this festive holidays... I came up witha very sweet and pretty look using all Aery Jo Products... I used a very natural liquid foundation on the skin keeping the skin very natural and fresh looking. This ensures the skin to give off a very healthy dewy look for the winter. ON the eyes i decided to use a greyish toned eyeshadow and blended in with a matte black eyeshadow creating a very soft smokey look on the eyes. For a finishing touch on the eyes, I added a bit of shimmer particles on the eyes to give it an extra pop. On the eyes, I used a very peachy blush for that healthy looking flush on the cheeks. To finish the look, I used a very soft pink almost close to a white color on the lips and topped it over with a clear lipgloss..

Stage Makeup - Shimmery or Matte?
Im always in love with stage makeup or basically makeup for dancers or performers... Well I have tried many things in the past and after looking at my work from the past and recent work... I kinda noticed that my past work were like uh oh... Well question is... When it comes to stage makeup should we keep it matte or shimmery? Well personally, I used to love applying shimmer and glitter back then... I used to feel that the more shimmery the nicer it looks... But nowadays, it seems like too much shimmer looks as if it looks overly done. It doesnt mean that I dont use shimmer at all nowadays...
Shimmer can be used but personally i think it is to emphasize on certain parts. For instance I love emphasizing on the eyes when it comes to dancers. Hence, I tend to use a shimmery eyeshadow on the lid and blended into a matte colored eyeshadow in the crease of the eye. Basically its all about mixing the colors and type of shadows... However I still keep the entire looking very fresh and matte... You obviously do not want ur face to look like a shiny disco ball and personally i think that it will look very poorly done. You want people to notice your face and not the shimmer...

Summer Fever Barbara Bort Bronzing Powder (review)

Well if u ask me wad type of bronzer I have in my kit... There is one prodct i totally recommend. That is the "Summer Fever Barbara Bort Bronzing Powder'. One of the best bronzers i've used. This product comes in a compact form. Perfect for a person who wants to look all bronzed up for a night out or trying to fake a golden bronze tan to their skin. This product is very pigmented and is perfect for any use. For me personally. I apply it to my clients face as a highliter to highlight certain parts of the face or to use it to dust around the chest for that extra bronzy look. This product however is not recommended for photography because of the amount of shimmer that is present in the product how ever it does work well for a normal everyday look and for those who like shimmer... For me I give a 3/5 rating...
